Mr. Ashworth has over 21 years of experience helping investors accumulate and preserve their wealth using sound, time-tested principles. Blair has been a guest speaker for numerous financial organizations, seminars, college campuses, and radio programs. His primary goal is to help retirees (and those planning for retirement) protect their principal, look for additional income, and look for ways to make their money last longer.

His confidence is derived from his training and experience in estate planning, asset allocation strategies and investment analysis.
Blair graduated from The California State University, Fullerton, earning his BA and MBA degrees in Finance where he was recognized for superior scholarship with the Financial Management Association, a lifetime honor society. He then began his career in the municipal bond business with investment bankers John Nuveen & Co., where he was promoted to Regional Vice President for mutual funds and managed investment accounts. He later served as the Vice President and Western Regional Coordinator of the Unit Trust Department at Dean Witter Reynolds/Morgan Stanley and as a Senior Vice President, Investment Officer, for Wachovia Securities. Today, he manages a significant financial services practice with his own firm, Cornerstone Consulting.
Blair lives in Placentia with his wife and three children. He is an active member of his church and enjoys sailing, reading, and numerous sport activities.
In addition to his finance degrees, Mr. Ashworth has also earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certificant.
